Most value starts with everyday work

Before any specialized estimating software, there is real value in the communication, documentation and knowledge workflows every construction office runs.

  • Owner and project-manager briefing
  • Meeting notes to assigned tasks
  • Proposal and letter drafting
  • Submittal and RFI summarization
  • Specification and addenda review
  • Standard-procedure documentation

A construction-specific assessment

Construction estimating, plan review and preconstruction are specialized. So we start by understanding whether plan review, takeoff or estimating is a genuine priority for your team — or whether your biggest gains are in office and communication workflows instead.

Only when plan-based estimating is a real priority do we discuss specialized tools. That is also the only point at which we would mention the product our team develops.

Our relationship with DrawScale

When we'd suggest evaluating DrawScale

We only suggest it when every one of these is true:

  • You process digital plan sets regularly
  • At least one estimator is involved
  • The work involves drawing review, quantities, takeoff or related preconstruction tasks
  • DrawScale's actual production capabilities support that workflow
  • You can test it on a representative project
  • It performs adequately against criteria we agree on in advance

If they are not, we say so. We will not bring DrawScale into an engagement simply because we own it.

How we keep the recommendation honest

  • Our implementation fee is the same whether or not DrawScale is selected
  • DrawScale software appears on a separate agreement and invoice
  • You own the decision
  • There is no automatic trial conversion
  • We document why the product was recommended
  • We may conclude that DrawScale is not appropriate
  • Your project files are not used to improve DrawScale without your explicit consent

Start with the assessment

We'll determine whether your best first step is an office and communication workflow, a plan-review or estimating workflow, or no paid engagement at all.
